NCC has confirmed the time for our appearance at Saturday’s Diversity event – 11.30am. Meet in the vicinity of the Sound Shell/Veronic Sun Bay area at 11am and we’ll get tuned up for our performance. Preceding that at 8.30 we’re playing for the HB International Marathon – this will be down on the grass by walkway by the Sound Shell. Time to make lots of noise for the runners as they go by. Between events we can stroll somewhere and have morning tea. Don’t forget the May Piping & Drumming Live event at Napier RSA is on Sunday 26th starting at 4pm (band members meet at 3.30pm).

For HB Caledonian and Lindisfarne this was a rehearsal for their National Pipe Band events in two weeks time in Dunedin. For us it was a chance to parade and play and enjoy pipe banding. Art Deco Concert 2019
Art Deco celebrations are happening this week and to support this community event, your Band is once again parading and performing in various events. These include welcoming guests to the ball on Thursday evening, leading diners to the Depression Dinner, entertaining shoppers at the fete on Tennyson Street, plus the usual highlight of parading in the Automobilia parade.
As if that’s not enough (phew!), we are also holding a concert on Saturday afternoon which we warmly invite you to. Commencing at 2.30pm, the Band will be performing their Highland Cathedral concert, playing all your favourites such as Amazing Grace, the Green Hills of Tyrol, Scotland the Brave and of course – Highland Cathedral.
Entry to this concert is just $5 on presentation of your current membership card. Bring along a friend for just $10. Ticket sales at the door of St Pauls Church, Tennyson Street, Napier. We look forward to entertaining you.

On Sunday 25 November the Band will present the final Piping & Drumming Live event for 2018. These concerts at the Napier RSA have been very popular with our members and supporters. Armistice Day 2018
The Band played at the Clive service on Armistice Day. Pipers all around the world registered to take part in the “Sleep in Peace, now the Battle’s Over” event by playing Pipe Major Robb’s classic tune When the Battle’s O’er. We were pleased to be part of the rolling sound of this historic tune travelling across the globe through the various time zones. Our thanks to members of the Hawke’s Bay Caledonian PB who joined us.
