The plan for New Year’s Eve is as follows:
Meet at the band hall, Nelson Park, at 6pm. We will then proceed in our vehicles to the following venues:
Kennedy Park
Kensington Court
The Mission
Taradale RSA
Along the way we will call in to play a tune for some people and after the final venue we will gather for a late supper and to welcome in the New Year.

2022 Blossom Parade
On Saturday 24 September the combined bands took part in the Hastings Blossom parade. Like many parades, there’s a lot of standing around waiting for things to start.
Anzac Day 2022
Band members have participated in four ANZAC Day commemorations this year.
On Tuesday 12 April, piper Chelsea Fisher played the lament at the schools Anzac commemoration at the Taradale cenotaph, an event organised by senior pupils from local high schools.
On Anzac Day Nick Scannell and Waynne Valler played at the Taradale RSA’s Dawn Service at Lone Pine. Then the band lead the parade through Taradale for the 9am service. We were grateful to have the support of our colleagues from the HB Caledonian PB.
At Waipawa th4e band lead the march from the town’s theatre to the Cenotaph at the clock tower.
