On Saturday 24 September the combined bands took part in the Hastings Blossom parade. Like many parades, there’s a lot of standing around waiting for things to start.

2022 Blossom Parade music
The Hastings Blossom parade is scheduled for Saturday 24 September. The music being played is:

2021 Blossom Parade
The Blossom Parade has now been moved to Sat 6 November.
The Combined Pipe Bands of Hawke’s Bay will again be parading in the Hasting’s Blossom Parade. Meet at the Civil Defence headquarters, Lyndon Rd E, at 10.20am. Here’s the list of tunes we’ll be playing:

2020 Blossom Parade
After a deferral because of Cobid-19 level changes the Combined Pipe Bands of Hawke’s Bay will now be parading on Saturday 3 October in the Hasting’s Blossom Parade. Here’s the list of tunes we’ll be playing:

Blossom Parade 2017
On Saturday 16 Sept the Band took part in the annual Hastings Blossom Parade. It was a great day and the band played well.

Blossom Parade Preparation
In preparation for the 2016 Blossom Parade we have started practising our tunes at the tempo we’ll play on the day. There will be a dress rehearsal on Sunday 4 September at 2pm at the band rooms:
– it is a dress rehearsal so wear your uniforms – we’ll be checking that everyone is properly kitted out
– wear your uniform as we will be getting a band photo done
– even if you can’t be at the Blossom Parade please be at the dress rehearsal so you can be in the band photo!
