We are resuming practices at the hall as from Monday 4 October. Being at Level 2 means that there are certain conditions we need to adhere to:
- Members will need to sign the register which will be situated in the main hall. This is in addition to scanning the QR code as we need to be absolutely sure that we are aware of all who attend practice.
- All entry to the hall needs to be through the main entrance. This will include drummers who will need to sign the register and then make their way to their room.
- Indoor practice will be for practice chanter only. Hopefully the weather will be favourable enough to play pipes outside.
- Due to the need to keep appropriate distancing, it will not be possible for both drummers and pipers to be in the main hall together. There will not be enough room.
- To be able to attend practice, it will be a requirement that members have had at least their first vaccination shot.
- Do not come to practice if you have any symptoms suggestive of Covid infection or of a respiratory nature including a cold/flu.
- The Exec are aware that despite these conditions, some members may still feel uncomfortable about attending practice in the hall. We appreciate this and fully understand if you would prefer not to attend.
You are welcome to contact a member of the exec to discuss this further if you have any concerns.
